We spent a week at Hotel Diana. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. The bedrooms were very comfortable and very cool during the day . The air conditioning was very welcome on hot nights. The beds were very comfortable and a good size.
We either sat out on the balcony overlooking the garden and pond or on the roof terrace. The terrace had views over Vence towards Nice and the sea or up to the hills. There were plenty of sun loungers or a table and chairs.
We decided to have breakfast every day. There was a huge selection of bread and rolls. In addition there was ham, cheese and eggs. The orange and apple juice was very good. There was also a good selection of yogurt and fresh coffee. Because I have to follow a gluten free diet unfortunately i was not able to eat the bread or rolls, but it was very easy to buy some bread close by.
The hotel is located very close to the centre of Vence and therefore it is a very short walk to the local bars and restaurants. It was useful to have free WI-FI and there is also underground parking.
The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful and friendly.
I would certainly recommend staying at the Hotel Diana
